Watering Spike Bottle Connector - Venting Your Beverage Bottle
Vent your beverage bottle for use with the bottle connector watering spike!
Air needs to be able to enter into the beverage bottle in order for the water to exit through the watering spike when it is placed in soil.
Please create an opening in your beverage bottle to ensure your plants receive the water you need.

Option #1 - Cutting off the bottom of the bottle
Carefully cut off the entire bottom of the beverage bottle to create an easy way to add more water to the bottle. Use larger volume bottles for larger pots or for longer watering times.

Option #2 - Poke a Vent Hole in the Beverage Bottle
Poke a hole in the bottom of the beverage bottle. You will need to cover the hole when filling your bottle with water.

Please vent your beverage bottle!
We do not recommend using glass containers with our bottle connector watering spike.
If you choose to drill a hole in a glass container, please use proper safety equipment and extreme caution.
